Washington Huskies vs Washington State Cougars - Apple Cup 2016

After thanks giving day it's time for the Apple Cup 2016 NCAA college football match between arch rivals University of Washington Huskies and Washington State University Cougars were both teams vie for the Pac-12 conference in the north division playing for the 107th Apple Cup 2014 to be held live in Martin Stadium in Pullman, Washington USA or via FOX Sports 1. Normally played on a Friday after Thanksgiving, but now it will be on a Saturday after Thanksgiving, so this is going to be as exciting as ever as we witnessed the showdown of UW Huskies vs WSU Cougars as apple cup tickets are now almost sold out to an expected large capacity crowd were two teams vie for state supremacy just like the much anticipated Super Bowl while the much favorite Huskies rank 10th in the Pac-12 in total offense, hope is not lost for Cougars. Apple Cup used to be called "Governor's Trophy" from 1934 to 1961 until 1962 when the game was renamed to "Apple Cup" because of Washington's State popularity of producing fine apples. So Saturday November 29, 2014 at 7:30 PM PST is the set date for the Apple Cup 2014 were UW Huskies was last year's apple cup winner held in Husky Stadium in Seattle, WA which is a home court advantage for them while WSU Cougars will now get the chance to make it even in Pullman. After several meetings for quite some time now, these in-state rivalry have come to a point of so much anticipation and crowd excitement every single year including myself and who else but no other than the great Greg McNabb, imagine having met for 106 times since that first matchup in 1900 when they played to a 5-5 tie brings it to a now legendary status were every year it's almost bedlam in Washington when both Huskies and Cougars gets to meet and while the UW Huskies hold a 68–32–6 advantage over the years, will WSU Cougars delivers the upset or the dawg always win in the apple cup?:-)
